March 25, 2007 / lyceum
March is pretty much over already, and I barely posted anything >.< Hopefully, things will lighten up in April, but I'm not sure that'll be the case. So much work...
While I try to catch up on some sleep, check out the latest spatula, and the slightly drowsy Pic of the Week...
March 18, 2007 / jimjams
I mentioned Suzy 9 before when I saw it in Midori no Hibi, but I never expected to see it again in Manabi Straight.
Apparently, there's a connection between a guy with a girl as his right hand, and a bunch of young girls in the future. Hostess might also be involved in this conspiracy, but I have yet to find any leads...
As I go searching deeper into the abyss, entertain yourself with the lightly breaded Pic of the Week...
March 11, 2007 / hookah
I hope everyone remembered to set their clocks ahead an hour. Damn government trying to trick people...
Not too much to report on from last week, but I do have a new spatula to go along with the medium-rare Pic of the Week.
March 4, 2007 / freshet
At first, I thought Doujima Kyohei was the typical boorish fellow who gets beat up by baby chickens, but I noticed he may be a more complex character than he appears.
Who would've guessed that he'd be a fan of Oscar Wilde? Maybe he adores simple pleasures...
A couple people sent me some curious links last week. tobemorecrazy from NewChallenger.net sent me a link to an All Character Combo Exhibition for Queen of Heart '99 SE. Arigatou! You wouldn't be able to get away with any of that stuff in a 2 on 2 match though...
Vince also told me about a new grad student at the USC Cinema School who was interested in the anime club at USC. It must have been an interesting experience since he wrote about hanging out with some of the members in his blog.
This seems like the typical non-event, but Vince told me that this guy worked on scripts for a couple anime shows - Martian Successor Nadesico (TV), Muteki Ou Tri-Zenon (TV), Outlaw Star (TV), Spiral (TV), Stellvia (TV), and Zaion: I Wish You Were Here (TV) (there's an entry for him at Anime News Network). Apparently, he started out as an electrical engineer, but ended up writing and advising for anime. I'm especially interested in his work on Stellvia because of the calculations I did for that show. I want to meet up with him sometime and compare notes, but he'd probably be scared of me...
Finally, in a bout of recklessness yesterday, a member of my Ragnarok Online guild managed to take over castles during WoE by himself 3 times.
Scary fellow...
Consistency may be the last refuge of the unimaginative, but I have to post the usual Pic of the Week or the fabric of space-time might crumble...
