Party's Breaker - Character Information

Hasebe Aya

Aya is a struggling doujinshi artist, sole member of the group Jamming Book Store. She is very shy and introverted, which is reflected in the gentle stories that she writes. She also appears in the background of Mizuki's stage in QoH '99. Her character seems to be inspired by Rose from Street Fighter Zero.

General Tips - Aya has plenty of distance attacks with her stole (a long wide scarf worn by women), so it is best to take advantage of this fact. She also has an air dash but it doesn't last as long as Yuu's. It is also possible to air dash twice, but the first must be interrupted by an air jump or an attack.

Specials	Description / Notes
Stole Hook - f+B	If this attack hits your opponent, you can pull her towards you by pressing back (b) while holding B.
Stole Javelin - f+C	A multiple hit, long range attack, that reaches across ~two-thirds of the screen; of course, the recovery time is long.
Sliding - df+C	A low, sliding kick useful for getting under projectiles.
Hop then Stole - f,f+B	A short hop followed by a hit downwards attack from her stole. A useful counter to a low attack.
Hop then Stole - f,f+C	A horizontal stole attack that knocks the opponent away.
Hissatsu waza
Thunder Pen - qcf+Z	If you hold down C while doing the EX version, it will stun the opponent; this move can be held for 2 counts.
Dancing Pen - d,d+Z	6 pens will appear around Aya to aid her in her darkest hour. The A version will stay where she summoned them, while the B and C versions will follow her around. A pen will fly off in the direction Aya is facing for each attack performed.
Soul Reflect - qcb+Z	Aya spins around once, whipping her stole in an arc facing the opponent to reflect projectiles similar to Nakoruru from Samurai Spirits 2. The EX version sends a projectile attack towards the opponent.
Bloody Stole - rdp+Z	She jumps up in the air, becomes inverted, then attacks down with her stole in an arc. The EX version will stun the opponent. This attack must be blocked up, but it can't be blocked in the air.
Chou Hissatsu waza
Viper Whip Final Attack - hcf+C	Aya spins her stole in the air like a lasso the whips the ground sending out sparks that run along the ground. You can hold this attack for 3 counts by holding the C button, which is useful if the opponent is in the air above Aya.
Stage Details
	A sign that says dessin, which is French for "rough sketch".
	A sign that says aburae, which means "Oil Painting".
	A sign that says COMIKKU SEERU, which means "Comic Sale".
	A sign that says MAJIKKU PEN, which means "Magic Marker".
